Refunds & rescheduling

Full refund until 48 hours before your slot.

The 48 hours run from your slot, not from when you paid. This is the same promise shown on the review screen before you pay, and it is the one that binds.

More than 48 hours before your seva

Cancel for any reason and we refund the full amount to your original payment method. No questions, no fee. It usually reaches your statement in 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

Within 48 hours of your seva

At that point a purohit has accepted your seva and reserved the hour. We will reschedule you to another time at no cost — same seva, same purohit where possible.

This is not a penalty and we do not want it to read as one. A family cancelling two days out is usually dealing with something hard. Tell us what happened and we will find you a time.

Japams and other multi-day sevas

A japam is not an hour set aside for you. It is days of recitation performed on your family’s behalf — a Shani japam is nine days, two hours each day — and it begins the moment your sankalpam is taken on the first day.

Everything above applies right up to that moment: cancel more than 48 hours before your sankalpam and you get the full amount back, and inside 48 hours we will move you to another day.

Once your sankalpam has been taken, a japam cannot be refunded. From that day your purohit is reciting for your family every morning. That work cannot be undone, and it cannot be given to somebody else — so there is nothing left for us to return. We would rather tell you this plainly before you book than explain it afterwards.

If you need to stop partway for a reason of your own, tell us anyway. We cannot refund it, but we will talk to your purohit about how to close the anushthanam properly rather than leaving it unfinished.

If we cancel

If a purohit cannot make it, or our technology fails and the seva cannot be completed, you get a full refund regardless of timing — or a rescheduled seva, whichever you prefer. That is our failure, not yours.

If something goes wrong during the seva

Your purohit has your number and will call if video drops. A seva interrupted by us is ours to fix: we finish it, or we reschedule it at no cost.

Dakshina

Dakshina is offered after the seva, is entirely optional, and is separate from the seva price. It is not refundable, because it is a gift you chose to make to your purohit after the pooja was performed.
